You do not need to be a DVC member to benefit from DVC stays. Members occasionally have surplus points or choose to travel elsewhere, leaving points unused.

To prevent those points going to waste, members can rent them to non-members, allowing you to stay at Disney Deluxe Resorts for a fraction of the usual cost.

With 13 Deluxe Resorts at Walt Disney World, 2 on-site Resorts at Disneyland, and 3 off-site Resorts available for booking with DVC points, all offered at competitively low prices.

DVC members may book on your behalf up to 11 months before check‑in at their ‘Home Resort’, and up to 7 months before check‑in at any Disney Deluxe Resort. We strongly recommend submitting your request before the 11‑month window opens so you can be matched with a member whose Home Resort is your preferred property, maximising your chance of securing availability, especially for those guests requesting a studio. Although shorter lead times may occasionally allow for availability, this is less likely.
